Tutto Pasta

From Madison Pizza Wiki

Tutto Pasta was an Italian restaurant at 305 State St., on a corner of State Street, from 1997 to 2023. It served pizza alongside its pastas[1][2].

History

Enzo Amodeo opened Tutto Pasta in 1997, and it became a popular State Street spot for students and visitors. Joe Perkins became the owner in 2018 and in the summer of 2022 opened a sister restaurant, Sass ("sauce and shells"), at 10 W. Mifflin St. on Capitol Square[2].

In November 2023 Perkins announced that Tutto Pasta would leave its building of almost 27 years. Its last day at 305 State St. was to be November 27, and the two restaurants were to reopen together on December 1 as Tutto with a Touch of Sass on Capitol Square[2].

Pizza

  • In 2016 Madison Magazine counted Tutto Pasta among 11 classic Italian eateries in Madison. It had "a small array of pizza", including a build-your-own option, on hand-thrown crusts[1].
  • The merged restaurant planned to serve individual-style pizzas instead of big ones[2].
