Spartan Pizza

Spartan Pizza is a pizza restaurant at 5813 Main St. in McFarland, opened by Dale and Linda Borchardt about 1975 and named for the McFarland High School Spartans. A 2010 review called it "spectacular" and worth the trip: a cracker-thin crust cut in squares, house-made sausage, cheese bread, and the feel of a small-town tavern. It went smoke-free on March 1, 2010[1].
