Opened in Aug. 1992 as Rocky Rococo's 'Party Pizzeria' in the former Cinema Plus theater: a 145-seat restaurant beside two surviving movie theaters used as party rooms with screens (a closed-circuit Holyfield–Bowe fight on Nov. 13, 1992); First Madco's 18th Rocky Rococo and its first new Madison restaurant since the 1988 sale.
Sandra Kallio's April 1993 review: pizza from $1.89 a slice, pasta from $3.59, the Cartoon Network on the big screen 4–7 p.m. and birthday parties with movies — 'Stick to what you do best — pizza and parades'; the theaters showed closed-circuit boxing (Foreman–Morrison June 7, Bowe–Holyfield Nov. 6, 1993), a Christian concert and the Ahana all-city prom.
From about Feb. 4, 1994 the theaters ran a Friday-night stand-up comedy club at 9 p.m. for $4, hosted by 'Rocky' (Jim Pedersen, the chain's marketing vice president) — 'a west-side comedy club' with standing room only on its first night; hiring for 'its newest Westside location' in April 1994.
Showed the Tyson–Bruno fight on closed circuit on March 16, 1996 ($17.50), and was listed all of 1996 as ComedySportz's venue.
