"Didn't last here in the 1990s and early 2000s."
'Calling it quits: Edwardo's Natural Pizza, the deep dish pizza place on Mineral Point Road, closed last month' (Oct. 24, 2002) — the Chicago chain (Bravo Restaurants) still had Milwaukee and Wauwatosa stores; 'the 2-inch high stuffed pizzas never took hold here'; a manager quit and 'things went kind of crazy'. Its equipment was auctioned in October 2003.

Kallio (1988): basil and oregano growing under lights and a display case of ingredients, signatures of the ~18-store chain, as is the stuffed pizza — the broccoli-walnut 'souffle' ($9.35, 9-inch) was heavy on salt and cheese, the thin crust crisp but 'cheesed out'; three small dining rooms, 30–40-minute weekend waits; 11 a.m.–11:30 p.m., to 12:30 a.m. Fri–Sat.
Its 1988 help-wanted ads promised drivers they would 'Deliver Madison's most sought after pizza'.
Licensed in 1989 to Mineral Spirits, Inc. (agent Greg Gale); the planned Bassett Street store's application was in the name of ERI Mid-Con, Ltd.
