Wayne Mosley (died November 2017[1]) was the co-founder, with Roger Brown, of Rocky Rococo.
Mosley grew up in the Chicago area and studied law at the University of Illinois[2]. He and Brown opened the first Rocky Rococo in Madison on April 4, 1974, and by 1982, when he was 35, the company had 11 restaurants[3]. After the two sold the company in 1988 they continued to own restaurants in Madison and La Crosse as franchisees[2].
Trivia

- "If I had known then what I know now I wouldn't have been so optimistic. On the other hand, if I had known then what I know now, we'd probably have 150 restaurants"[3].
- He described 2008, with its recession and the rising cost of flour, cheese and fuel, as the hardest year he had seen[2].
- Brown called him a "pizza visionary"[4].
- His name is spelled "Mosely" on some of the city's license lists[5].
