Opened in November 1997 in the same week as Glass Nickel and Pizza Planet, and 'along with The Glass Nickel helped introduce Madison to gourmet pizza'; owner Bob Sieger (2004): 'We're a neighborhood thing; we get 20 pizzas — and that's fine.' First in the Daily Cardinal's 2003 pizza poll with the Adoris; 'kind of a high-end place' (manager Casey Gryske, 2001).
