run by chef Gilbert Altschul and fiancee Marissa Johnson
A gun shop and a house turned into a 45-seat late-night pizzeria (open to 2 or 3 a.m.), named for a recipe Altschul's grandfather developed when he owned a bar in the 1960s. Altschul, kitchen manager at Mickey's Tavern, is the stepson of its owner Jane Capito. A week after opening a breastfeeding dispute blew up on Facebook; he apologized with free pizza for mothers and children on July 25.

2013 menu: basic pie $9, Barberini $14, Finnochio $13, Puerco $14, Jabroni $13; a six-seat beer-and-wine bar. Altschul hoped to open six to eight versions in cities like Austin and San Diego. In December 2014 the team was turning the house next door into Gib's Cocktail Bar, with bartender Hastings Cameron.
