Brian Glassel is the co-founder, with Tim Nicholson, of Glass Nickel Pizza. The "Glass" in the name is his.

Glassel is from Milwaukee[1]. He owned Royal Pizza in Scranton, Pennsylvania, before moving to Madison about 1996. He met Nicholson at Pizza Extreme, where he worked for less than two months[2]. The two opened Glass Nickel at 2049 Atwood Ave. on November 4, 1997.

Trivia

  • It was his aunt who suggested the name[3].
  • He was 33 in 1999, when he said that Glass Nickel's franchises "are not awarded to strangers"[1].
