Teens in Mentoring Positives' summer program developed a frozen pizza from scratch in 2016 to learn business and cooking skills. The salsa reached Metcalfe's and the co-ops by 2018; the pizza was planned for the Madison Public Market. Profits go to the program.

By 2019 it sold two products, salsa and frozen pizza, under the Off The Block name; in December 2022 Mentoring Positives moved into the Ella Apartments, 2860 E. Washington Ave.
