Opened by Matt Lombardino with art he brought back from Italy: a Venetian glass fountain, statues from Florence, paintings by Alfredo Valenti. Waitresses wore Sorrento-style dresses made by his wife, and food came out on a Sicilian cart. Pizza went out as carryout from the start.
