Fraboni’s is an Italian delicatessen at 108 Owen Rd. in Monona, behind the old Angelo’s Pizzeria, founded by Angelo Fraboni[1][2]. It makes its own frozen pizzas.

History

In 1995 two of Angelo Fraboni's sons ran the Fraboni's delicatessens at 108 Owen Road and 822 Regent St.[2] Angelo Fraboni also turned his former Colonial Inn into Angelo’s Pizzeria in 1990[3].

Pizza

  • Its 12-inch frozen pizzas were "All Large Fraboni's Frozen Pizzas $5.49 each" in a 2012 ad[4].
  • In 2013 One Barrel Brewing on Atwood Avenue served Fraboni's pizzas as its bar pizza: cheese, pepperoni, sausage, veggie, and sausage and giardiniera[5].
  • In 2019 the deli ran a Pizza of the Month and advertised its C.P.W. pizza, made with its cheese, parsley and wine sausage, as "voted best frozen pizza in Wisconsin," adding that the vote was by Garry Fraboni[6].
