Campbell's 1981 review: Iven's Greek Pizza opened in January 1980 at Regent and Orchard, run like a fast-food operation by Iven Haddix, who learned 'Greek pizza' (cheddar instead of mozzarella, a thick raised crust, lots of herbs) working for an East Lansing pizza chain; 10-inch pizzas about $6, meatball grinders, Greek salad; open 11 a.m.–2 a.m. daily; rated four of five.
1985 guide (address printed as 1306 Regent St.): 'East Coast-style pizza, Italian "grinders" and salads are specialties. Everything is homemade'; 11 a.m.–2 a.m. daily.
Fall 1986 guide: 'Deep-dish pizza, Italian "grinders," baked spaghetti and lasagne are specialties. Everything is homemade. Dine in, take-out, evening delivery'; 11 a.m.–2 a.m. daily.
The 1986 beer license read 'Haddix, Iven G., dba Iven Greek Pizza, 1306 Regent Street'.
Fall 1984 guide: 'East Coast style pizzas, "grinders" (toasted Italian sandwiches), baked spaghetti and greek salads ... Comfortable seating with lots of greenery and soft music ... free delivery in campus area. All menu foods are served with white cheddar cheese.'
Still open in June 1986 (a lost-and-found notice from its parking lot) and listed in the Fall 1986 dining guide (October 5, 1986); absent from the Fall 1987 guide.
