A grand opening was advertised for Nov. 30, 2004 while hiring from a job trailer on the site; the restaurant actually opened in the week of Dec. 13–18, 2004 with 300 seats and more than 120 employees, the first of 14 Boston's planned for the upper Midwest by franchisee Rick Horstman's Advantage Control Company.
Closed in the first half of 2010: advertising on Dec. 13, 2009; 'recently lost', for sale and phone disconnected by July 15, 2010; gone from bostons.com's state list between the July 24 and Sept. 14, 2010 captures. Google's 'closed 2020' is the Waunakee Boston's (2019–Sept. 2020), a different store.
