Madison's first Neapolitan pizzeria: a 3,000-pound wood-fired oven at 1,000 degrees (pizza in 90 seconds), San Marzano tomatoes, Caputo flour, Wisconsin mozzarella; 13–15 pizzas (Margherita, Funghi, Capricciosa, Quattro Formaggi), $7.50–$13; Vera Pizza Napoletana member by 2007; Iron Chef judge Mario Rizzotti dined here Dec. 3, 2007.
Closed in March 2009 when the lease ran out; the oven was cemented to the floor and could not move. Old Market Bistro took the space in June 2009.
