Closed in June 1999 'to make room for the Overture Center project' (the 2003 recollection that it lasted to 2001 was the building's demolition, not the store).
Gone by June 1999: 'It left early in anticipation of the coming arts district' (Samara Kalk).
'Rozino's New York Style Pizza… sold by slice or whole pie, baked on stone. Thin crust is a specialty' (1993 dining guide); Jay Rath's favorite delivered pizza in 1993.
1995 ad: 'thin crust or pan style pizza', subs, cheese steaks, soups, beer on tap, catering; 11 a.m.–2 a.m. Mon–Sat; 'The Finest in Pizza, Subs and Soups'.
Called 'Madison's first New York-style pizza parlor' by Samara Kalk when Sal's opened two blocks away in Oct. 1997; licensed in 1997 to Rozino's Pizza Inc. (John Andersen).
