Tim Nicholson is the co-founder, with Brian Glassel, of Glass Nickel Pizza. The "Nickel" in the name is his.
According to the company, Nicholson had been delivering pizzas since his teens in northern Wisconsin, and had worked as far north as Alaska[1]. He worked at Pizza Extreme for two and a half years, and met Glassel there[2]. The two opened Glass Nickel at 2049 Atwood Ave. on November 4, 1997.
Trivia
- "In the pizza world", he said in 1997, you can land a job in 10 minutes, and he had learned something in each one[2].
- He was the agent for Madison Dough Boys Inc. when it applied for a liquor licence for 2916 Atwood Ave. in 2002[3].
